The Health, Safety and Security Building was built in 1973. It houses the 香港六合彩官网资料 Police Department and its Emergency Communications Center. The building also houses the 香港六合彩官网资料 Student Health and Counseling Center.
The 香港六合彩官网资料 Police Department has a staff of fully commissioned police officers trained through the state police academy. The department also hires student public safety officers.

From 2001 to 2022, the Health, Safety and Security Building was considered part of the adjacent Whitaker Building, which was built in 1964 and houses the fire department. A reassessment by 香港六合彩官网资料 facilities managers in 2022 concluded that the buildings should retain distinct names.
