With the State of Alaska’s emergency declaration expiring, the UA system office is actively working to update the . At Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ we will continue to follow our practices, procedures and that are in place, including:

The State of Alaska continues to expand and open new phases and tiers for COVID-19 vaccinations. With the newest phase (1b, Tier 2) opening last Thursday, Feb. 11, many Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ employees may now be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Per the , if you are a , age 50 or older, and are required to work within 6 feet of others, you would qualify. To determine if you are eligible, please take the quiz. The Fairbanks area offers several locations to get a vaccination but appointments are limited due to supplies. You can find a vaccine provider on the .

Please remember that Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ still requires all employees, students and campus visitors to follow our face covering policy and maintain 6 feet of social distancing. Please also continue to sanitize work surfaces and stay home if you are not feeling well. These safety measures will continue to keep our campuses safe.
