Applications open for URSA's 2023 Fall Student Project Awards
Applications for URSA's 2023 Fall Student Project Awards open on April 17. Fall Student Project Awards fund undergraduate research and creative activity projects up to $3,000 for both individual and group projects. Funds may be used toward fellowships (student stipends), tuition, travel, and/or supplies/services.
Past awardees have used fall project funding to create an art exhibit based on local research sites, to research the effects of wild Alaskan blueberries on sled dogs, to study aquatic environments using eDNA, and more!
See the URSA Awards Recipient page to learn more about projects that have received past funding. Applications are open via the URSA website as of Monday, April 17, 2023. The deadline to apply is Sunday, June 11, 2023.
To learn more, join us in Wood Center Mall from noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 21 for the Fall 2023 RFP Open House - coffee, and bagels will be provided!
