Center ICE supports two types of graduate fellowships, and both are recruiting for the summer and fall semesters.

For graduate students interested in exploring what innovation is and how to get involved, Center ICE provides a half-fellowship that includes stipend, healthcare coverage, tuition and fees, and partners with academic departments to pair that fellowship with a half teaching assistantship through the interested student's department. The fellowship engages students in exploring the world of innovation and gaining hands-on experience working on innovative projects. Students also explore the potential impact of their research and their own career interests. The goal is for students to build skills that will be translatable to either a career in academia or a career in industry.

For students with an applied research project or an entrepreneurial project, Center ICE funds full fellowships to explore the potential of their project and learn skills to move that project closer to reaching those that need their solution the most. The fellows work on advancing their project through milestones they select at the beginning of each semester with the Center ICE team. This fellowship comes with a stipend, tuition coverage and healthcare coverage.

To apply for either fellowship, students need to answer some questions about their motivations and current research and provide a support letter from their advisor. To learn more about both programs and apply, visit the Center ICE website. Applications close on Feb. 7.
