Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ Art Department in collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts will host the 19th annual Summer Visual Art Academy, an intensive visual arts program for students from grades 6–12. The Visual Art Academy will be held June 5-16, 2023. Students will select their preferred areas of interest and will be assigned to classes prior to the beginning of the academy.

Our faculty of professional Alaskan visual artists will teach classes in cartooning, ceramics, craft of sewing, digital design, drawing and design, metalsmithing, painting/mixed media, photography, and printmaking.

  • VAA full day (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
  • VAA half day morning (8:30 a.m. - 12:10 p.m.)
  • VAA half day afternoon (12:50 - 4:30 p.m.)
