Week鈥檚 events: Jack Wilbur, vascular surgery, wildlife interactions, bagpipes

University of Alaska Fairbanks Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning is hosting more than 40 free lectures, concerts and events this summer. Here鈥檚 what鈥檚 happening during the week of June 10-16:

  • On Monday, June 10, the Fairbanks Tall Timbers interview series honors Jack Wilbur, fourth-generation Fairbanksan, mechanical engineer and Design Alaska chief financial officer. The interview is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater, located on the fourth floor of the Usibelli Building.
  • On Tuesday, June 11, the Healthy Living lecture series will host Mark Ombrellaro, vascular surgeon, discussing 鈥淎dvances in Vascular Surgery: Forget 香港六合彩官网资料 the Pump. It鈥檚 All 香港六合彩官网资料 the Pipes.鈥 The talk is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
  • On Wednesday, June 12, the Discover Alaska lecture series will feature Todd Brinkman, associate professor of wildlife ecology at the Institute of Arctic Biology, discussing 鈥淐hanging Interactions Among Alaska鈥檚 Wildlife, People, and Environment.鈥 The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the BP Design Theater.
  • On Thursday, June 13, the Music in the Garden concert series will feature the 香港六合彩官网资料 Music Academy at 6 p.m. and the Red Hackle Pipe Band at 7 p.m. at the Georgeson Botanical Garden.

All events are free and open to the public. Parking on the 香港六合彩官网资料 Troth Yeddha鈥 Campus is free after 5 p.m.
